With All Inclusive service and practically anything one could possibly wish for, it is perfect for sun worshippers, people who love sport, and for those interested in cultural subjects. The main building houses our Reception area, several bars, a restaurant with no smoking section and a mini-market. In the street you will find a hairdresser, a jeweler, a gymnasium and a medical center, and many other wonderful places to bargin hunt.

For those who enjoy sports, table tennis, three lighted hard surface tennis courts, a jacuzzi, and gymnasium are all free to our guests. At the Riu Yucatan, wind-surfing and sailing are also included. If you wish to indulge even more, massages are avaliable, for an extra charge. The Riu Yucatan offers bicycles, water-skiing, and scuba diving for an extra charge.

The beautiful gardens surround our huge fresh water swimming pool, a separate children´s swimming pool and a jacuzzi. Both on the terrace and on the beach, there are lounge chairs and towels at at your disposal. For your convinence, we also have a poolside snack-bar and a restaurant on the beach.

In August 1998, Riu Tequila opened its second hotel in Mexico. Situated just 400 m from the stretching, idyllic beach of Playa del Carmen, this 5-star complex is surrounded by an incredibly beautiful natural landscape and forms part of an exceptional Golf Resort. It is just 3 kms from the small town of Playa del Carmen and its many restaurants, shops, bars, and some discothèques.

Our restaurant provides a wonderful breakfast buffet including on the spot cooking and fresh fruit or a simple continental breakfast. At midday, a hot and cold buffet will allow you to stuff yourself if you wish, have one of our excellent main dishes prepared just to your liking or experience one of our light dishes. At night, we prepare another splendid buffet, complemented with dishes prepared for you by our wonder chef. The price includes all snacks and all national and international alcoholic and soft drinks at any of the bars and restaurants of the hotel, and the re-stocking of the mini-bar.
