Manta Lodge was developed, designed and built by a group of professionals whose main goal was to inspire a tropical beach front getaway with family style hospitality. Please join us in an environment that nature has made for scuba divers, bird watchers, artists and nature lovers.

Relax by the swimming pool or we can organise a variety of excursions available on the island - from a trip to the Argyle waterfalls in the midst of the oldest preserved rain forest in the Western Hemisphere, to the bird sanctuary in Little Tobago, a small island visible from Manta Lodge.

If Tobago is famous for any one thing in its own right - it is the Scuba Diving. The diving is unquestionably spectacular, especially in Speyside, and it rivals some of the best in the world. Manta Ray (Manta Birostris) are found with unprecedented regularity in Speyside due to the richness of the waters.

Manta Lodge is home to Tobago's long established dive operation - Tobago Dive Experience, offering dive charters with PADI/ NAUI tuition courses at all levels from open water through speciality and dive master programmes.

Tobago Dive Experience is proud of its repeat clientele as its reputation has been built on its personalised service - it is widely known that it is mostly natural resources that bring a guest to a country but nearly always the people that make them stay.

Combine all this with the fact that Trinidad and Tobago are two of the most southern of the Caribbean islands, and they become an almost irressistible destination.
