For the diving enthusiast, Belize offers the second largest barrier reef in the world....the famous Blue Hole, manta rays, giant sponges, black coral and the endless canyon and walls. For the fisherperson, we have bonefish, tarpon, snook and permit along with blue and white marlin, sailfish, wahoo, dorado, king mackerel, snapper and yellowtail, just to name a few.

Some of the best diving is found along the coral reef that lies just a few hundred yards off Ambergris Caye.  San Pedro, on Ambergris Caye, is home to a recompression chamber for treating diving illnesses.
