I'm not sure how to answer question #6. We loved the location and ocean front room for the price. We wouldn't take any other room because you wouldn't have a breeze. The hotel is old and not well maintained but clean enough. We had lukewarm water the first 2 days then nothing but cold water for 2 days until they fixed the boiler. They knew they had this problem and should have taken care of it before. They completely turned off the water on 2 days without advance notice. The first time was late afternoon and through the evening when everyone is coming in from the beach and wants to shower. I think they should have offered a discount. Some customers checked out and left. We also had tiny ants in the kitchen area if any crumb or drop of liquid was present. They gave us bug spray.

chain security lock on door was missing...half was still on the door. They wouldn't fix it. Anyone with a pass key could walk in on you.
Refrigerator door broke; they replaced it by the end of the day.
Breakfast was not included because we booked through you. Has we booked on our own, they would have provided breakfast. Would book on my own to benefit the breakfast.

Great location on the beach within walking distance to everything including water taxi to Cozumel.

Mimi Del Mar was a wonderful, private hotel. Its location is excellent and the staff were very nice.

The "Mimi" is the only place we would return to.We have been to the Cancun area twice before, we would choose the Mimi again and plan to do so in the next coming year. It was fabulous, thank you.

PRICING AT THE HOTEL RESTAURANT WAS EXCESSIVE...POOL SEEMS TO BE AN AFTERTHOUGHT EVEN THOUGH IT WAS WELL MAINTAINED

We were very happy with the Mimi del Mar Hotel. But... if you are someone who has affluent needs this may not suit you. The entrance to the front desk (no Lobby) is off of the beach, which does make getting your luggage on and off site a bit cumbersome, but once we were in and comfy, we forgot that until it was time to check out. At check out, the staff helped us carry our luggage to solid ground. I was so pleasantly surprised with our $80.00 a night beach front hotel that I would def. go again. I am afraid to brag too much, because then the secret it out and the prices might go up!
I did hear that they were going to replace all the lounge chairs on the beach (they do need to do that) and put in a plank, entrance for easier luggage rolling.
We were very content.

We have stayed here before and much hasn't changed except the price and the free puified water.

We had a problem at check out when they were not charging us enough for the room. It took me awhile to make them understand their problem.
