Cayman Brac is the second largest of the Cayman Islands, located 89 miles northeast of Grand Cayman. It is approximately 12 miles long and just over a mile wide, with a population estimated at 1200 in 1995.   For the past 25 years, the Brac has ranked among the Caribbean's best dive destinations. Divers enjoy the combination of healthy shallow reefs, abundant marine life and a dramatic walls and drop-offs which begin less than a quarter mile offshore.
Tales of shipwrecks, giant fish, sunken treasure...all of these are part of the mystery and allure for divers. Cayman Brac remains the ideal unspoiled Caribbean island for serious divers...but ashore, its many natural attractions are seldom really explored by divers who find it hard to take long surface intervals from the caribbean waters.
Cayman's Brac's rugged 14 square miles offers the country's most dramatic scenery. 'Brac' is the Gaelic word for bluff, the Brac's dominant natural attraction, a limestone ridge which rises gradually from the west along the center of the island to 140 ft. at the eastern tip. Here it plunges as a sheer drop into the indigo Caribbean below. Everywhere, it sculpts the landscape into unexpected and mysterious vistas: narrow caves mouths open onto the face of sheer cliffs 100 ft. up conjuring speculation about legendary treasures concealed by 18th century pirates.

There is a private white sand beach with pier and dock overlooking a reef-protected lagoon.
