Great people, very helpful and accomodating. Lovely hotel on the beach. Extremely clean and well-maintained.

The Alhambra was very nice and the staff were great. But, it was very noisy at night, interrupting our sleep. No reflection on the staff, but disruptive to the overall experience.

Be more upfront about additional charges and taxes

Very charming hotel and great location. A little noisy very early in the a.m. when the hotel next door cleans up their chair cushions in prep for opening. Like having someone bounce a very large basketball over and over. It was not too awful though. The hotel restaurant is very good. Free breakfast is off the menu with plenty of choices, quality high. "Hot Rock" dinner was exceptional. Staff is very warm and accommodating.

Except for the late night garage trucks, and the construction on the first morning, it was a very nice place. Very nice people, and nice being on the beach.

I love the hotel in general, however when there is a problem the staff don't seem to be real interested in assisting. One evening the people above us were extremely loud and disruptive in the middle of the night. When I went to the front desk, the sum of the reply was "the manager isn't here, don't know what to tell you". I felt like the staff working should have addressed it. If there are no issues, the staff are great.

All the reviews I read online I expected more personal service...I did not get it. I generally had to reach out to the staff initally to get them to speak to me. Beach and table service was slow and the beer was always warm.
I will likely go back, I love the location, the hotel was very clean, and the construction will (next door) likely be over by then.

We did encounter one person at the counter that didn't seem very friendly. Hardly if ever said hello and seemed put out with "Americans" in general. However, the other staff were wonderful!

The beds were a bit hard (needed a top mattress)and the pillows too high.
There was no possibility for drying towels. A coffee maker could have been nice.
